We went to Pustervik on sunday for the new open stage. The venue is nice and there were a lot of people in the crowd. I played two songs. Not so nice was that my wife fell on the stairs and broke her arm. 😦

A new open mic has started in Göteborg. It is held at Pustervik which usually is a popular concert-hall for small to medium acts. The open mic seems to be popular since I had to sign up two months ahead of time! It is usually 10 minutes 🙂 Anyway, I’m playing at 20:30 on sunday. Please come down an watch.
I’m practicing to get ready.

You sometimes need to get away for a while, so me and my wife went to Nice, France for a few days. It was very nice Weather. I happend to be Reading Keith Richards book at the same time. I realized that he lived in the area when Stones recorded Exile On Main Street.

I had a cold for a couple of days and stayed at home. Now I’m fine again and went to the open mic at Wästerhus. A lot of people there tonight.

It is time for the event that takes place every fall in Göteborg. Cultural night or kulturnatta will take place friday, october 11th this year. There will be music every where in the city. I will be playing my songs at Vida la vida, 4e Långgatan 48. I will be playing around 19.00. Please come down and listen! There will be music during the whole night.

My wife followed me down to the open mic at Gamle Port. We first saw Sweden beat Kazakstan in soccer. Gamle Port has an open mic every tuesday. The sound is very good and I took the opportunity to play three songs. We had a good time and saw many fine musicians.

Tonight, me and my wife had tickets to see Kris Kristofferson at the Concert hall in Göteborg. He played all by himself for one and a half hour. Not bad for a 77 year old. He played all his old songs from the past and of course Me and Bobby McGee,

Every other monday I go down to the open mic at the Dubliners pub in Göteborg. Tonight it was hosted as always by Teddy Kaiser who originally comes from the windy city – Chicago. I played three songs and had a good time as always.

I hadn’t planned to play any shows this week, but I changed my mind and went down to the open mic at Calor again. Had the chance to see Björn Segerberg who is a regular and a very fine musician. Before that we had sushi.

Tonight we Went down to Calor for the open mic. It hasn’t been running for a while over the summer so it was fun to be back. Scott Mico was the host to night.
