A few weeks ago I was at Visans Vänners open stage. Someone recorded my performance and the video was sent on local television. It was only open access television, but you got to start somewhere 🙂

Busy week with 4 shows
Hello friends. This week was busy with lot of work and many gigs.
I played open mic at Visans Vänner on Sunday. Nice to come out to Evert Taubes old homeplace and eat kötbullsmörgås and play a few songs. Monday was open stage at Dubliners. Tuesday open mic at Gamle Port and finally on wednesday open mic at Calor. A lot of people everywhere and met many people.
Show tomorrow att Vida La Vida
I’m playing tomorrow Friday in an event celebrating Kvinnodagen. I will be playing around 20:00, please come.

Got a bass so I can finish my CD-project
I have been working on my first solo CD for a long time now. I needed to get a cheap electric bass so I can more easily put bass on my recordings. I got this one that is really nice and didn’t cost much.

Folkteatern
Last night I tried a new open mic night at Folkteatern at Järntorget in Göteborg. It was a nice venue with a lot of people in the audience. The performances was more into theater and performance since it is at a theater. I played three songs and headed over to the open mic at Dubliners across the street and played some more there. It was a busy night.
Played a couple of songs on local TV
A week ago, I went to the open stage at Visans Vänner. They have an open mic every second sunday. I played my regular 3 songs and didn’t think much about it. But, yesterday I got a call that the performance had been filmed by the local open access TV channel. So, I was on tonight. I don’t get the broadcast where I live so I could only get the web-cast. The sound was missing in the web-cast so I didn’t hear anything. But, I have been promised to get a DVD with the film later. Looking forward to that.
New drawing from Dubliners
It has been a busy week. Last monday I went to the open mic at Dubliner and Jan Cederlöf was nice to give me a new drawing. On wednesday I hosted the OldTime jam at Vida La Vida on Fjärde Långgatan in Göteborg. After that I went to open mic at Calor on Viktoriagatan. In the meantime I have written a new song about Gentleman Jack (the founder of the Jack Daniels destillery).
Soon finished recording my first Solo CD
I have been working for over a year with writing songs and recording them. My plan is to have 10 songs on the CD. I have some recording of harmonies and instruments still to do, but it is getting closer to the finish.
I have put up the raw mix of some songs on soundcloud. There is no EQ or any adjustment of levels, just a raw mix. Here is an example of one of the songs:
